  • TLD Server Referral – The TLD server responds with the address of the authoritative name server responsible for the domain.
  • Authoritative Name Server Provides IP – The authoritative name server responds with the actual IP address of the requested domain.
  • Response Returned to Browser – The resolver sends the IP address back to the user’s browser, which can now connect to the web server and load the website.
  • Caching for Future Requests – The resolved IP address is cached by the browser and resolver for faster access next time.
